CYBER BULLYING

           As time goes by, technological development are also becoming more sophisticated. Now, children already know how to using internet well. Even, the internet now is one of important thing for them. Half day on which they live every day used to using internet, 98% teenagers now recognizing that they are know about internet and the rest about 79,5% are the users of internet. Especially, on the social media.

            Lately, we are very often heard the term about cyber bullying that are now very excited in social media. there are some case about cyber bullying that makes us so corious to know what is the cyber bullying and why cyber bullying could made social media very excited. Until being trending topic on television and news. Cyber bullying is a form of violence experienced by children or adolescents and made friends their own age over the internet. Cyber bullying that occur where a child or teenager mocked, insulted, intimidated or humiliated by another child or young person through the internet, digital technologies or mobile.

             There are some case that causing by cyber bullying. cyber bullying has made so many victims, especially teenager at 11 until 17 years old. Indonesia including the second largest country with the highest cyber bullying cases after Japan. Beat the united states and canada who ranks third in the world. four years ago, we've heard about a beautiful little girl who committed suicide, Erin Gallagher. the 13 girl who was found dead by her family on october 29, 2012. Erin suspected suicide because of being ridiculed about her weight and her appearance in social media. 24 hours before being discovered dead, Erin had warned "those who mocked her" that she would commit suicide. Erin wrote in ask.fm "you may think this is funny when i wrapped my neck strap for your actions" she said on the social media sites that provide features this questioning. is not the first case that make cyber bullying causing the casualty, so many another case that make us so terrified imagine about how can a comment in media social make somebody committe suicide?

              Teenage children who still has a soul vulnerable makes us should to realize that cyber bullying is a dangereous thing  and must to controled. so that cyber bullying is not widespread, we must start from ourselves. we have to realize if we are mocked each other will only produce feud, stretching relations even to intersect. if someone taunting us in social media, we should never respond culprit. because, they are waiting for our respond, so if we are never respond the offender, the offender will not be tasteful again to continue to provoke us to write back and if we replay them, it will only make us also become perpetrators of cyber bullying and we will only further enrich this unpleasant action. 

               Things we should really understand then, of course, we should always polite in social media. this will suppress the activities of offenders not to commit cyber bullying because they don't have any material to harass, taunt or intimidate us. every crime happens always has reason and cause. at least we have to press the cause first to prevent cyber bullying from happening.

                 If cyber bullying has occured, the first thing that we have to do is save all of the evidence. this action usually occur in media social or digital media, it is so easy to capture all of message, picture or any other intruder material that could be evidence in time to report to other parties who could help this problem. we could reported this action to people who can be trusted. if it is the children, they can report this action to their parents or their teachers. it can help to save the victim, it can also help fix mental and attitude the offender. the last things that we can do is blocked the offender from our social media, if the material through message, picture or profil comments, then blocked them immediately from your accounts and if this action happens while you are in a chatting room, then you have to left immadiately.

                  cyber bullying is suppossed to start from ourselves. do not get just because of the comments even from people we do not know can make a person who still has a long future prefer to commit suicide. then, be a friend to them, do not be silent. participate forward a message of defamation or just silent and not doing anything will fertilize the action bullying and hurt the feelings of the victim. ask the offender to stop their action, or if the offender is not known, help to calm down the victim and report the case the authorities. that these actions do not continue and casualities.
