DRUGS (NARKOBA)

        A drug is a chemical substance that usually used in the medicine. But nowadays, drugs have been misapplied by some people and become a serious problem in Indonesia. Data showed by Badan Narkotika Nasional that drug users in Indonesia reaches 5.1 million people and will always continue to increase from year to year. Drugs has negative effects, with it is big risks for teenagers such as overdosis, HIV/AIDS, some damage in our brain and mental and dangerous for the people in surrounding us.

        Overdose happens when a toxic amount of drugs or combination of drugs overwhelms the body because the body is not used to taking a certain drug and would give effect on the body. The cause of overdose drug is either by accidental overuse or by intentional misuse. People can overdose on lots of things, including many kind of drugs, for example is using Heroin or Cocain can have significant effect for body and the drug user be overdose by the drug.

         Another risk is HIV/AIDS. Drug abuse and addiction have been linked with HIV/AIDS. When using drug you are at a higher risk for HIV/AIDS infection. This can be infected to other person who has contact with the person directly and have connected to the drug user. So that HIV/AIDS as an illness in society.

            Drug also will give some damage in our brain and mental. Drug can destroy many function in brain and body mental. Chronic use of drugs abuse can cause long-lasting changes in brain, which may lead to   paranoia, depression, aggression, and hallucinations and drugs that can cause mental health problems like Cocaine, Inhalants, Ketamine and etc.

           It’s no accident that drug-related crime has become a focus of concern among Society because drug is dangerous. Drug is related to criminal behavior and it become a focus concern. Drug user can do such negative things such as crime, violence, harm and etc. to society because they can not think clearly when drug user use the drug.

            In conclusion, drug can bring many bad impacts for the drug user itself and other people. We should to avoid it from now to prevent any various effect of the drugs. We have to pay more attention to solve this problem. After all, let's save ourselves and our future from the drug.
